I had Business Coaching

I had been working at a company for several years before I decided that I needed business coaching. Although my position in the company was secure, I had taken stock of where I was in my career path and realized that many of my personal career goals had not been met. Although I had received raises on a regular basis, I had only been promoted once in 5 years, and my career seemed to be at a standstill. I decided to give business coaching a try.

Career Coaching Needs To Stop....When...

1. The person the coach is working with doesn't do the necessary work on him/herself to find a a reasonable job goal.

2. The coachee lies.

3. The coach lies.

4. Once the coaching process has started, the person being coached changes goals several times.

5. Payment for services is haphazard.

6. Mutual trust in each other, fails.

7. Appointments for services are missed without explanation.
